Prior to venturing into real estate, Davie spent 10 years as a legal secretary for the law firm, Milgrim, Thomajan, Jacobs & Lee, in New York City where she worked in the field of real estate law before going on sabbatical to concentrate on raising her two children, Matthew and Jessica. Her passion for her children evolved into a passion for the Syosset community she lives in. As a resident, she became heavily involved in the Syosset school community, serving as an active PTA member for Village Elementary School and Syosset High School. Davie decided to move into the real estate arena after her children enrolled in college, a decision that she says came naturally after having watched her mother build her own successful realty in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
?In growing up, I was always fascinated by my mother?s work in real estate,? explains Davie. ?I was always inspired by her commitment in helping the residents of Greenpoint, Brooklyn uncover their dream homes and amazed by the contributions she made to building the Greenpoint Brooklyn community through her work in assisting people with the buying, selling or renting out of their homes,? says Davie. ?I always hoped to follow her footsteps. I jumped at the chance to work in real estate as soon as my children left for college, which allowed me the opportunity to dedicate a full time effort in this venture.?
